Twenty-four years after we lost him, Layne Staley's voice continues to reach people in ways no one could have fully anticipated. At the end of May, Therapeutic Health Services (THS) will officially launch the Layne Staley Mobile Medical Unit — a fully equipped mobile clinic bringing addiction treatment, behavioral health support, and harm reduction services directly into the communities that need it most.
This is what the Layne Staley Memorial Fund has been building toward. Layne's name is now literally on the side of a vehicle driving to underserved neighborhoods, offering the kind of help that might have made a difference for him — and will absolutely make a difference for others.
THS operates with a simple belief: Hope Starts Here. The mobile unit removes one of the biggest barriers to care — getting there. It meets people where they are, without judgment.
